Avila is an absolutely beautiful area immediately south of San Luis Obispo. Avila possesses a distinctly Mediterranean feel with rolling hills creating a stunning backdrop to Avila Bay.

The downtown area has a beachfront boardwalk providing easy access to shops and restaurants. There is also a great dog beach that attracts people and their four-legged friends from all over the county!

Avila Barn is another great reason to visit Avila. Avila Barn sells fresh produce, roasted corn, homemade pies and baked goods, ice cream and lots of other fun stuff. There are also farm animals for the kids to enjoy and a fall hayride through the pumpkin patch!
